MyyCat is committed to accuracy. This page explains how we handle mistakes.
How Factual Errors Are Handled
When a factual error is identified in an article, it is reviewed and corrected as soon as possible. Minor corrections (such as typos, small wording clarifications, or formatting fixes) are made directly without special notice.
How Incorrect Information Is Corrected
When a substantive factual error is found — one that could meaningfully affect a reader’s understanding or decisions — the article is updated to reflect the correct information, and the article’s “last updated” date is refreshed.
How Articles Are Updated
Articles may also be updated over time simply to keep information current, not only in response to an error being reported.
How Readers Can Report an Error
If you believe an article on MyyCat contains an error, please contact us and let us know which article and what you believe is incorrect. We review every report.
Our Approach to Transparency
We aim to handle corrections honestly and promptly. As a small, independently run site with a single editor, we cannot guarantee a fixed turnaround time for every correction, but every report is reviewed.
