This page explains the process behind every article published on MyyCat.

Our Content Workflow

Every article follows the same general process: Research → Source Evaluation → Writing → Editing → Fact Checking → Updating.

Who Does the Work

MOHAMMED ZARRIF, the founder and editor of MyyCat, performs the research, writing, editing, and ongoing maintenance of content on this site.

Researching Cat-Health Topics

For cat-health topics specifically, information is researched using reputable veterinary, scientific, educational, and animal-care sources — such as established veterinary schools, animal hospitals, and recognized animal welfare organizations. Our Sources & References page describes the types of sources we use.

What We Don’t Claim

MyyCat does not claim that a veterinarian has reviewed an article unless an actual qualified veterinarian participated in producing it. Where no such review has taken place, articles are not labeled as medically reviewed.

Fact Checking and Updates

Articles are checked against the sources used during research, and are revised when new information comes to light or an error is identified. See our Corrections Policy for how errors are handled.
